If there was any question about who was in charge of the Lakers, we now know it is Lebron James. Jeannie has apparently decided NOT to purge the squad of James, opting instead to give him the keys and watch him roll. There’s really not much left for the so-called staff to do, since all the picks have been surrendered, and James will tell them which supporting stiffs he requires. Nobody knows if this latest addition will blossom into anything, but at least the severe criticism should die-down for a couple months.
