(Burbank) – Muir’s defense was in lock down mode and the offense did enough to lead the Mustangs to a 20-15 win over Burbank Monday night in Pacific League action. The game was rescheduled after being postponed last Friday night due to the Saddleridge fire.
After trailing 7-0 early on a defensive score by Burbank Muir scored the next three touchdowns. Amaris Harrison capped a drive with a one-yard run and Tyrikk Lawson later found the endzone on a 24-yard touchdown scamper.
Late in the game Erik Wallace found John Humphrey for a three-yard touchdown strike to make it 20-7 and put the game away.
Muir’s defense held the Bulldogs to just over 100 total yards. Muir improved to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the Pacific while Burbank fell to 3-5 and 2-2.
