They have been telling Spike for years to use the VIP entrance. He has continually given the middle finger.
This time they said ” Hold my beer ”
My guess is spi9ke refused to use the VIP entrance because he could not get his big head through the doors.

Spike has used the same entrance for 20+ years
    Why the problem now?

If Spike thinks Dolan and company are screwing him on the entrance deal, just wait to see how much the MSG guys are going to ream Ballmer for the old Forum property. There’s no love in business, only positioning.
