Members of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Detroit Pistons, and Brooklyn Nets have already tested positive for the coronavirus. The L.A. Lakers, who played the Nets just before the NBA put its season on hold, are in the process of being tested.
All of the professional sports leagues have suspended play for good reason. This disease is deadlier than a common flu strain. It’s going to be at least months before things get completely back to normal.

I’m sure most of you saw that lady who was injected with an experimental Corona virus vaccine in the last couple days. If it works, that’s wonderful. It does, however, show that when business profits are being affected, heaven and earth gets moved to quickly remove the impediment. The reason we’ll never have a similar vaccine for the common cold is that doctors make huge bucks from office visits and drug makers score on antibiotic sales, so THAT cure can wait forever.
