1. Luke Hill, a cornerback from Maryland who recently signed with Oregon, was arrested on eight different charges, including attempted murder.

2. The LA Galaxy have returned back to work with voluntary individual workouts at Dignity Health Sports Park.

3. “I don’t see how you could play a game without fans. I feel like that takes out the excitement and the fun out of the game. I feel like the fans is what pick you up. The fans are what makes the game exciting.” Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

4. The Rams are scheduled to open the season Sunday September 13 at SoFi Stadium against the Dallas Cowboys.

5. Barring an unforeseen turn of events NBA owners expect Commissioner Adam Silver to green-light the return to play in June – with games expected to resume sometime before the end of July.

6. If the 2020 season is canceled due to coronavirus pandemic it could cost college football at least $4 billion.

7. Louisville became the first college basketball team in the ACC to allow voluntary workouts that will start June 8 with coronavirus testing and protocols in place.

8. Former Dodger/MLB pitcher Tommy John turns 77 today.

9. Mayfair head coach Derek Bedell included wide receivers Steve Smith and Chad (Ocho Cinco) Johnson as two of the best players he has coached against when they both played together at Santa Monica College.

10. “When they operated I told them to put in a Koufax fastball.” – Tommy John.

    A 4 billion dollar loss for all college football sound very low. Notre Dame by itself will lose that much
