Where is the Tournament going to be held since the Field at El Ranch is under construction?
No what I meant was just because a team won cif D4 doesn’t mean they will win a passing tournament. Taking nothing from the teams. Just trying to get a topic going.
Lost in the quarterfinals if I’m not mistaken
@ 🙂
Umm I’m gonna take it that your comment means that they didn’t do that great. I’m sure they’d turn in their CIF and state championships for a better showing at a summer practice competition that doesn’t have the whole team on the field.
@FBFan How did La Serna do last year at rumble at the ranch?
These are clearly the two “class teams” in the event . They will have the best collection of athletes and are favorites for the finals .
There are a lot of squads looking to make a statement . Can’t wait for the season to start !
The division 4 semifinals was La Serna vs. Culver City and there’s no reason why that matchup wouldn’t be the finals for this tournament.
Let’s get some early predictions in. What team wins this passing tournament?
No I am not, not sure what you are talking about with their schedule. But rules are in place for a reason, why have them if you’re not going to follow them.
Peterson give Bateman a call and ask. It is, guessing he will say it’s there “Club” team even though they don’t have one.
Why you trying to snitch?
@Del Rio Insider,
Are you Santa Fe’s schedule police or what? First there was a slight problem with their game schedule and now this? Come on man.
How is Santa Fe participating in this tournament when they are on their Dead Period?
From T. Peterson: Apparently it’s not their dead period.
The choice is not tough. The Rumble tournament is well ran and seasoned. The other is the 1st time tourny, which will undoubtedly have its clitches. I’m sure it will be a successful one. Good luck to them. The 2 tournaments give more teams an opportunity to play.
Best tournament around when it comes to organization. The teams are well mannered, Refs are on every field, games run smooth and brackets are out quick. Not to mention the very welcoming parents barbecuing and listening to their oldies!
With Peterson endorsing Keppel’s first-ever tourney, I guess we’re all well advised to ignore this Ranch event and go with the new kid in town.
From T. Peterson: I posted the Keppel Tournament because it’s news. You can go to whatever one you want. I do wish they were on different days though. I’ll just go to one and send someone else to the other.
