    Allow me to explain that all these supposed acts of charity or generosity cost these multi-millionaire jocks exactly NOTHING. It’s all a write-off, which means they either give the money to the government, or to an entity that will boost their own interests. The net income stays the same, while the public perception (among the unwashed) skyrockets.

    @RamsFan,

    Are you serious? Do you not know about Lebron’s I Promise school? which he provides at-risk students a better education and opportunities which they wouldn’t normally be able to get? Come on man. Stop reading just the headlines and actually see what these athletes do for their communities. It’s not just Westbrook.

    I never understood why people can’t just compliment a positive action. Is there really a point to being negative about it?
    And whats worse is some jealousy perhaps wanting to throw shade at Lebron when he is one of the most giving athletes across all sports. Go ahead and Google “Lebron James Generous” and dont come back here and reply just try and be a happier/positive person it will do wonders for your life.

    Stupid comment. James is not an organ grinder monkey. He can use his money like anyone else, like he wants. You must give bigly tips. Yeah right!!

    #6 Not a fan of basketball or basketball players in general but that was a class act. Would it be expecting too much for the highest paid basketball player, LeBron,, to match or exceed that tip? Ya ,right.

    verb selection beat? Thesaurus?
    Squeaked by, held on, nearly imploded? escape? (play by play used escape)
    Kenley Jansen 10 plus era, Joe Kelly not able to throw a fast ball for a strike 6-5 with the bases loaded yields 2 walks, bases loaded
    If you are a Dodger Fan or manager Dave Roberts, you had to be saying, “oh no here we go again”
    It will be interesting who will come out as closer. Jansen and Kelly have not inspired confidence in the past month. Will it be Graterol or Treinen, and will switching things up in the 9th work? Or does Roberts continue to pencil in Jansen, out of loyalty?
