- Alabama head coach Nick Saban has tested positive for the coronavirus and will not coach this Saturday’s game against Auburn. Saban, who had a false positive test last month, is showing mild symptoms.
- The 2020-’21 college basketball season tipped off Wednesday. USC will host Cal Baptist at 6:00 p.m. while UCLA is at San Diego State at 7:30 p.m.
- The Oklahoma-West Virginia football game scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues.
- Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who is out for the year with a knee injury, will be replaced by Brandon Allen Sunday against the New York Giants.
- LAFC was eliminated from the MLS playoffs Tuesday night after a 3-1 loss to the Seattle Sounders.
- Jacksonville Jaguar Quarterback Mike Glennon will make his first NFL start since 2017 Sunday when he lines up behind center against the Cleveland Browns. Glennon’s last start was September 28, 2017 for the Chicago Bears.
- Dallas Cowboys strength and conditioning coach Markus Paul, 54, passed away Wednesday. Paul was rushed to the hospital Tuesday after experiencing a medical emergency. The cause of death was not announced.
- Former University of Miami/ Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar turns 57 today.

Rams fam, you are an idiot. Compare the data between people who have passed away from the flu and covid and you’ll be singing a different toon. Please do us all a favor and stay indoors, inside your mother’s basement. It’s because of people like you that this pandemic continues.
I’m going to say O have died as a direct result of contact with an athlete. Or a minister. Or a waitress. Or a checker in the grocery store. Go ahead and fact check that. I’ll wait while you also find out how many have died from the flu, second hand smoke, car accidents and play ground mishaps. Yet we’ve never locked down our country because of them. Some kind of rational thought needs to return to Newsome, Garcetti, Feinstein, Pelosi, Shumer etc etc. Talk about crazy town. We live in it. Trump is actually the only sane one around.
I like sports but how many people have died from athletes spreading 19 to other people they come in contact with. Even when you recover millions are still in crazytown like Trump.
