Yes, those Dodgers ran their record to 11-2 on Thursday night!
Lefty David Price recorded his first save of the season for L.A.; he gave up a couple of hits but was able to get the Rockies out in the top of the ninth inning without allowing a run.
So far, the Dodgers have been succeeding with a “closer-by-committee” strategy, using Kenley Jansen (three saves in four opportunities), Corey Knebel (who’s 2-for-2), and Price.
One cautionary note: Jansen has to watch it with the walks. So far, he’s walked nearly as many batters as he’s struck out.
