- Monrovia head coach Chris Williams confirmed Sunday that former Sierra Vista CO HC Matt Villasenor has joined the Monrovia staff and will assist with the offense and play calling. Update: Coach Williams confirmed Monday that Bishop Amat made Villasenor an offer that he could not refuse on Monday morning and Villasenor accepted. He is now on Bishop Amat’s staff.
- The Phoenix Suns beat the Clippers 84-80 Saturday night in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. The Suns lead the series 3-1.
- The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Atlanta Hawks 113-102 Sunday night in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Bucks lead the series 2-1.

From T. Peterson: Two things: 1. The head coach isn’t a credible source when an assistant is being hired? And I did have two sources. The guy that was hired (told me Saturday) and the guy that hired him (told me Sunday)
2. Actually I was right. He did agree to join the staff and was on the staff…for one day.
Wow, did Chris Williams and the Monrovia School District just dodge a huge meteorite by not hiring Matt Villasenor? Now Bishop Amat has begun drinking the kool-aid and is looking desperate. So, what was the Lancers big time offer? Some free gear, a couple of burritos, two 50 yard line seats and a parking security gig? This guy is a weirdo. Amat’s President and AD should be aware of the possibility that they’ll probably receive no donations from particular alumni if certain records are broken. Anyway there’s no deal until all the background checks are completed and the president of the school allows the AD to sign off. Lancers good luck with the nuclear fallout on this one. Everyone else grab a chair, some popcorn and a cold drink this experiment is going to be a big fail.

@#1- Never seen a get back coach tweet so much about a job search. He has tweeted about being hired at multiple programs i the past few days and this Monrovia job is old news already. Bishop will probably regret this hire because every win or loss will be tweeted about with his spin. How many great asst. coaches have ever had to look for a gig by tweet. Like great football players, if you are good no need to talk, they will find you. Robledo gets his wish
