DRL needs new teams. LM, LH, LS, Los Al and one more. The Ranch, Cal and Whittier need to join the 605

La Serna – too scared to leave DRL
La Habra – wants to leave its league but has no other Orange County schools near
Monrovia – too early to tell

We are loaded this year. Recruits from MD to Paraclete and La Habra. Coach knows we are more than ready to ram helmets with anyone. ANY TEAM-ANY TIME-ANY PLACE!!!

    El Toro- W
    Yorba Linda- L
    Servite- L
    Mater Dei- L
    Sunny Hills- W (barely)
    Dominguez- L
    Mayfair- L
    Paramount- W
    Warren- L
    Downey- L

This is sheer craziness. El Toro and even Yorba Linda are good games. Playing Mater Dei AND Servite must mean that Moschetti will be trying to poach their bench players in the handshake line after the game. Scheduling those 2 teams doesn’t make their team better. This isn’t the La Mirada of 10 years ago.

Add in their monster league schedule and this is a recipe for disaster. Did they not learn from Damien? Damien is in an already tough league and then beefed up their pre-season schedule only to miss the playoffs.

La Serna, Monrovia, and La Habra can afford to beef up their non-league schedule because they win their leagues before the season even starts. Losing a couple of non-league games actually does those schools good to avoid being in a higher division.

Look at Charter Oak, they went 0-3 in a brutal league but were able to squeeze into the D-7 playoffs because they had a reasonable non-league schedule.

LM has no business playing Servite or MD not the LM of the past. The horses left the stables long ago. Kids will gain nothing from getting beat up. Check your ego at the door but I like Mike he’s a good guy. Good luck

I understand there is a scrimmage with the Los Angeles Rams on the week prior to LM’s first game. In keeping with Moschetti’s motto of playing “anywhere”, this will be held on the far side of the moon. After that experience, the team should be in the same orbit as Mater Dei.

Shoot!. Man up. LOL. Thats on the verge of craziness. We are not even close to playing Servite or Mater Dei, Really! Say what you want about La Serna or Monrovia. It takes depth in the trenches to compete with those guys. LS or Mtown don’t have it. Kuddos to La Mirada for scheduling those D1 monsters.
