Gladstone is closing; it will become a middle school, similar to Edgewood 30 years ago. Current Gladstone enrollment about 800

Btw why doesn’t Edgewood have a football team???

Azusa and Gladstone merge next year as do their football teams. Will they be the next La Serna or Monrovia? Why not merge Santa Fe and Pioneer also? They are almost one city anyway.

Missing entirely from anyone’s list of top SoCal teams is Servite, a team that just a year ago beat Bosco in the semifinals. I know that teams can have ups and downs, but for a Troy Thomas-led program, this kind of drop raises questions. In Troy’s previous stint with the Friars, he also experienced a dismal season just prior to his departure.
