  1. The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to trade Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks for Dorian Finney-Smith, Spencer Dinwiddie, a first round draft pick in 2029 and second round picks in 2027 and 2029. Dallas will also get Markieff Morris. 
  2. Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is expected to be out through the All-Star game in mid-February with a left leg injury. 
  3. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers won the pro-am Tournament at Pebble Beach Sunday. 
  4. Tyler Perri was announced as the new head football coach at Alta Loma. 
  5. The Dodgers will retire Fernando Valenzuela’s number 34 this season. 
  6. The NFC beat the AFC 35-33 in the Pro Bowl Games in Las Vegas Sunday. 
  7. The Dallas Cowboys named Brian Schottenheimer as their new offensive coordinator. 
  8. The Dodgers have agreed to terms with new infielder Miguel Rojas on a one-year, $6 million deal that will take him through the 2024 season. 
  9. The Kansas City Royals signed pitcher Zach Greinke to a one-year, $8.5 million contract. 
  10. On this day in 2011 the Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 in Super Bowl XLV in Arlington, Texas. Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named MVP.

    #8 If it’s a one year deal how does it go THROUGH the 2024 season? That would be 2 years.
    From T. Peterson: He was already signed through 2023 on his previous contract. The Dodgers extended the deal one year through 2024. Sorry I should have been more specific.
