  1. The Arizona Cardinals hired Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon as their new head coach. 
  2. The Indianapolis Colts hired Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen as their new head coach. 
  3. Former Monrovia quarterback Noah Rodriguez is the new quarterbacks coach at Don Lugo under new head coach Josh Knight. 
  4. Tennessee knocked off number one Alabama 68-59 Wednesday night in Men’s College Basketball. 
  5. MLB players began to report to camp this week for spring training. Cactus League matchups officially open February 24. 
  6. Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback Chad Henne announced he is retiring after a 14-year career.
  7. Arcadia beat Charter Oak 4-0 Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the Pizza Chalet Tournament. 
  8. St. Paul quarterback Andrew Maushardt has received an offer from Liberty University. 
  9. On this day in 1996 Bill Belichick was fired as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. His overall record as the Browns head coach was 36-44. 
  10. Former Washington Redskins cornerback/ Hall of Famer, Darrell Green, turned 63 today.

    Mater Dei football just announced the promotion of d-backs coach Frank McManus to the position of head coach, replacing the retiring Bruce Rollinson.
