- The Lakers beat the Dallas Mavericks 111-108 Sunday to improve to 29-32 on the year.
- The San Diego Padres agreed to an 11-year, $350 million contract extension with third-baseman Manny Machado.
- The Dodgers opened the Spring Training season with a 7-4 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers Saturday in Arizona.
- Cal Conley of the Atlanta Braves was called out on strikes on a pitch clock violation Saturday with the bases loaded and two outs in the ninth inning. Instead of a walk-off game winning walk Conley was ruled out. The game with the Boston Red Sox ended in a 6-6 tie.
- The Clippers lost to the Sacramento Kings 176-175 in double overtime Friday night in the second highest scoring game in NBA history.
- Blair Freshman Timmy Anderson averaged 23.5 points per game this year.
- South Hills football is looking to fill a WR/DB varsity coaching position as well as a freshman level staff. DM Head Coach Jacob Calderon on Twitter for details if interested.
- The LA Galaxy-LAFC game at the Rose Bowl, which was canceled Saturday due to heavy rains, has been rescheduled for July 4.
- The St. Paul head football coach search.
- The Bassett head football coaching position is now open with Todd Quinsey leaving to take the Whittier job.
Probably a hire at anyone of these schools will be an HC already having a position at another school creating another opening. I believe Norco still open since Chastain quit.
Mike Moscetti from LA Mirada will be The New St. Paul Coach. The New Cantwell Coach will be Zepeda from St. Paul.
What coaching jobs are still open? Arroyo, Bassett, Cantwell, St. Paul, and who else?
