It will get physical in the Valle Vista this fall.

T-Minus-43 Days until “The Mid Valley Classic”

Good Morning!

Forced to just sit the last week certain things crystalized in regards to who is going to win what in each league… Still think, barring a San Dimas meltdown, the most competitive slot in all of the Mid-Valley Division will be second place in the Valle Vista…

No less than four teams are putting in bid for it…

Note to Zavala at Wilson: What’s it going to be Schreiman or Morales?

Still say; You haven’t been hit till you’ve been hit by The Ranch…Going with the Dons in the Jack Del Rio League. (See Daniel Moriel cornerback).

The name thrown at me that we’ve been overlooking at Rosemead this summer is linebacker Eddie Solario. The middle linebacker is returning for his third season on the varsity.

I don’t know what kind of operation they’re running in Dallas where Dez Bryant doesn’t have to carry a veterans pads…

…but here at The Mid, let a scrub like Omelette or Sunshine Saile pull something like that and I guarantee them a Dutch Oven from Big Tony!

So when I say you’re going to Art’s…Baby  bros you’re going to Art’s.

After spending the end of last week and the weekend at the hospital (family matters)…I’ve come to the conclusion with the right cable package the hospital is the best place to catch up on your sports…

Copies of Sports Illustrated from the NCAA Tourney were still scattered about…I looked at the hard copy of the L.A. Times and thought it was on some sort of Atkins Diet…and watched endless hours of ESPN…

It was kind of cool…until the bozo came in and flipped channels on us in the waiting room.

What kind of guy would change the channel when a room full of people are watching it? Most likely the same kind of guy who parks his car and leaves it in the drop off zone in front of the school.

…And he gets away with it because the motorcycle cop/bandit/thief…is too busy hiding behind the hedge bushes down the street readying to nail that one kid who isn’t wearing a chin guard on his helmet.

With the signing of “The Illustrated Bruin” (Matt Barnes), I think the Lakers did good…But Theo Ratliff? Dude is almost as old as Peterson and as indifferent about going to the glass as Villathedevil is about the salad bar.

Note to Joe T.: (From a loyal Fanview reader) “Jose Perez at La Puente…big year.”

Note to Loyal Fanview Reader: I’ll buy…I like Perez.

I actually saw Kennedy Pola play fullback at USC when I was a young…I’m good with the guy…I think he’s worth going to court over.

Don’t think Dan Haren getting Herb Score’d his first time out with the Halos was factored in when they made the deal…

…but when that kind of stuff happens it makes you wonder about some form of diabolic intervention.

Think about the bad stuff that happens when a third strike is dropped…or a foul ball is misplayed…something bad always happens…

Then again, when those things happen in your team’s favor its just good hard nosed baseball.

After hanging out with Garrett Fulbright last Tuesday, I want to know who Whittier Christian’s feature back is going to be this year.

Note to Sergio Gradilla: Cut a deal with Coach Karavedas and borrow Rudy Robles…

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Matt Leinart is going to have a good year…

“Football Rush Week” is coming…August 23-27.

Stay thirsty my friends…
