What positives do you want me to talk about, half the team is injured. The team blew its load against West Covina, lost its best 2 way player for the year that night and it’s been downhill the rest of the way. You said we have to rebuild from the bottom up, hence why I mentioned our freshmen class.
No that freshmen team won’t be what turns the program around, they are 2 years from making an impact. All the underclassmen playing and taking a beating last night are the ones will bounce back next year.
@ Foredeuce
Is that what we are doing now? El Rancho cant talk about anything positive on the Varsity Football level it needs to talk about its freshmen team that almost beat La Serna’s freshmen team. Instead of saying the future is bright I see the program moving in the right direction. We have to bring up a score of the freshmen team. Things are really bad at El Rancho these days. Good luck with that freshmen team I really hope they turn it around in 2 – 3 years
El Rancho has its first good freshmen team in the entire Adrian Medrano era and it gave La Serna all it could handle today in a very tough hard fought game. If no one wants to send their kid to ER how exactly did we bang with a La Serna team that beat the brakes off the likes of Warren, Damien, Tesoro, Pasadena, Los Alamitos?
El Rancho is currently playing a total of 4 seniors, which is almost unheard of at any program at the varsity level. Its no surprise why the team isn’t doing as well as one would like, but these underclassmen will bounce back, anyone who thinks ER will stay down is either stupid with 0 football knowledge or just has some kind of personal issue with ER
Anonymous is that pillow talk? Is that what DELETED tells you? Every time you have a transfer. It’s because the kid wants to come home BS!! We had a kid couldn’t make grades. SHS let him go & heard he was mtb Valiventorian. 🤣🤣 and DELETED
PR resident: The easy way out is already being taught at the youth level and it continues through high school with the ME generation. No more grab you by the facemask type coaches, just go poach someone else’s studs.
@LanceHarbor
You sound like an old Cal Worthington car sales commercial. Who remembers those? RIP Cal Worthington. El Rancho is down and will continue to be down, no one wants to take their kid to that school. El Rancho will have to rebuild from the bottom up, its had great teams in the past, football is a dying sport in this day in age. Kids don’t want to put in the effort to earn wins like they used to. They want the easy way out, go to a school that is already winning.
I tend to think so, 1 bad season in the last 7-8 years does not change the level of that program which has been one of the most consistent in the area for almost a decade. El Rancho likely finishes 2-8 this season with the last 2 games being losses, doesn’t take a genius to figure that part out. St Paul has its own qualities and offerings however comes with a price tag of about $10k per year and the education level is below that of all the Del Rio league schools. Amat is a good football school however they aren’t doing too hot these days, for those who can afford going there and can make that drive more power to them. For those who wish to be coached by one of the strongest staffs in the area El Rancho is a great option and it costs you nothing.
LMAO ER a tough program? No one willingly goes to El Rancho to play football. The smart ones head to St Paul or Amat. How is your season coming? i see 2 more losses in your future.
Just some hater who is still butt hurt his kid couldn’t hack it at ER and couldn’t handle the tough coaching. Don’t get it twisted, ER is having an absolute disaster of a season, but remember the last time ER had a bad season the rebound was great.

let me shift my finger to the left and play with you puppet… lol… you get your chonies so tight on these boards… let speak facts…
anyway who are you even defending?
who are you cheering for?
your like a cheap hooker, or you just hate ER that much and cheer anyone they play lol… LAME
@ ice man
Doctor Del rio took a page out of ranch18’s classics. Claims La Serna is draining all the Whittier area talent yet El Rancho can’t beat any of the Whittier schools……very concerning.
@TheRanch18
Ah my favorite conspiracy theorist has returned! Good to see your fat fingers typing away again after your brief hiatus. You guys won’t be beating La Serna but you already know that and are trying to save face as per usual.
You’ve made excuses in the past but I’m sure just like every QAnon wack job you would just brush it off as if nothing happened and go on to make your usual prediction of ER being world beaters despite only beating cream puffs. Just like those tabloids, you’re all bluster and no substance.
Oh and unless you use your legal name on these blogs then you’re hiding too, genius. Looking forward to seeing you guys being at the bottom of this abysmal league – perhaps you guys should join Pioneer in the 605 so you can better compete… ah who am I kidding, Pioneer would beat El Rancho by 2 point anyway.
Pot?
Yes he’s a transfer. But he transferred on his own. MHS coaches didn’t poach him. Nobody promised him a starting position and he used a proper address that he lives at. See the difference? Ramos is a clown and so are his coaches. They promise the world. Mark my words, those kids will be gone after football season. It’s a shame and an injustice to SHS football. Karma runs deep in Montebello..
IM STILL HERE MY BUSHHHHHES!!!!!!!
losing to whittier…. wow…. cal was bad but whittier oh man… I dont understand where “ICE CREAM PUFF” sees me making excuses… boi you need to go back and read … dont confuse my post either… I DONT STAY ANONYMOUS…
and YES WE ARE BEATING SELLOUTHILL THIS WEEK!
@Area Fan,
You are absolutely right in your sarcasm. I’ve only been to 5 high school football games this year, ranging from the higher divisions to the lower divisions. And what I have seen has been less than inspiring. I’m not talking about the talent level, but the level of energy and excitement from the players. The fans and spectators will still be vocal of course, but there just doesn’t seem to be too much pop from high school football players the games I have seen. Makes me wonder if the year round line comps, camps, and 7 on 7 tournaments are taking their toll on the teenage kids who just want to have fun with their friends.
@Pot/Kettle
Bro… the “QB” that transferred for La Serna to Montebello was NOT the starter lol
At best he was second to last string… at best. That is why he left.
@ Southside Montebello
Yeah your write the Oilers do it with home grown talent, props to them. They get the best of their players and don’t go looking for players elsewhere. Except the starting qb that transferred from La Serna oops. Poor Sean Romero home grown kid losing his starting job to a transfer after being in the program for 3 years.
@Sports Man, Mtn. View’s athletes name was Rich Rodriguez he was actually listed as a TE. He had a record setting day vs Arroyo with 20 Receptions in one game. This guy was so athletic he actually made it as a pitcher in MLB he played for various teams from 1990 to 2003: SD Padres(1990-1993), Florida Marlins (1993), St. Louis Cardinals (1994-1995), SF Giants (1997-1999), NY Mets (2000), Cleveland Indians (2001), Texas Rangers (2002), & Anaheim Angels (2003). However, it seems that Mtn. View has been paying for that game for the last 43 years, cause they haven’t beat Arroyo in the sport of football since that day.
💯 ice man nailed it on the head. Ranch18 in hiding trying to spin the recent loss. Looking for the latest foolery to come out his mouth. He’s clueless on sports and you hope he doesn’t gamble and if he does bet the opposite.
Anonymous you are correct! Head Coach for mv ran up score and paid severely the next week as Schurr slammed MV by about the same score! MV’s head coach , I guess had to prove something to himself?, by placing best athlete on field to running back. Then had him run several ‘swing passes’ for easy completions I was told. Well this placed the number of receptions in cif record book for most receptions in a game
What a weekend…St John Bosco 28, Mater Dei 0…..Whittier 10, El Rancho 6….Notre Dame 48, USC 20. I couldn’t figure it out, so I went to the CDC website and found that yes indeed, this kind of listless performance is one of the vaccine’s side effects.
Props to San Gabriel for beating Montebello with home grown talent and about 50 less players. That’s 2 out of the last 3 for SG.
Fr props to Montebello for playing with home grown talent unlike those sell outs on the hill
…
…
waiting for TheRanch18 to explain what is happening with El Rancho. I’m guessing we’ll hear the same ol’ hits such as:
– we have a lot of injuries
– the refs cheated
– the election was stolen
– it’s a conspiracy that somehow the WUHSD is somehow sabotaging their season despite ER not being in the school district
– ER is young
– can’t win em’ all
– we’ll get em’ next year (my personal favorite)
We’ll all be waiting for you to crawl out of your hole to explain.
@ Hills have cataracts,
Open your eyes and look at the two programs. Montebello plays with home grown players who are loyal to the program. They stick through think and thin and are held accountable. Unlike Schurr who basically cheats the system every year. All these transfers all the time is garbage. Ramos is just DELETED. All his coaches continue to lie to anyone who will listen. But no worries, if you have to win that way then more power to you. Montebello has dominated Schurr for the last decade and will take its lumps and move on. Too bad for the kids who stay all four years then ride the bench when Super Goonie Ramos brings in his transfers. That’s a bad way to show leadership…
El Rancho worst program of the Del Rio. Rancho18 very quiet right now. Everyone take note he’s the worst at predicting football games. Doesn’t know the game of football. Taking another L next week.
Correction! I believe MT. VIEW beat Arroyo in 81 Was 56 to 0 and in 80.
MONTEBELLO SUCKS!! 🤣🤣
Santa Fe Chiefs
Looks like SG vs. BG for 2nd in the Almont.
Crescenta Valley 38 Pasadena 8
St. John Bosco beat Mater Dei last night, 28-0. The Monarchs program is in full panic mode, to the point of possibly making locker room hazing mandatory, replete with switch blades and firearms.
Can the season need and we move on from coach horrible display against schurr
Hahaha You haven’t beat hit until you played the ranch???program is dead. Good job Whittier. The Donna’s suck. Joke of a program.
@Doctor Del Rio
That’s what happens when you have a successful program, you attract talent. Thank you for the well wishes.
My congratulations to Santa Fe coach Bateman for reviving the Chiefs program. With last evening’s 37-0 drubbing of Cal, the yellow and black are a lock for the league’s second guaranteed berth. And for those who feel ER’s loss to Whittier was as low as low can get, it doesn’t meet the disgrace of losing to a team like Keppel, so the glass is half full. As for La Serna, I wish you continued success in draining the area of talent, as per the wishes of the district administrators.
DIAMOND BAR LEAVES NOGALES FEELING A PURPLE HAZE.
Oh god Nogales lost. Baldwin park lost. These so called gurus sucks. Parents save your money. The player make them not the coach making the player.
Come on guys. Arroyo always got the best of the best. The talent level is not even close. Mt View hasn’t beat Arroyo since 1980. They may never ever beat them again.
South Pas 42 TC 28
I hope Arroyo coach are smart a put their best defender to stick like glue on South El Monte QBS favorite target Wr Aguilar. That will help limit South scoring.
@NWO
Ofcourse he is going to step down. He finds himself having to coach to win now and he don’t know anything about building or coaching. My call is he will quit! I wonder what Tim will call; perhaps the next school where Tim wants him to get hired at.
Arroyo being Arroyo Viking being the Vikings SMH. Different teams same old results.
Well now next week is the biggie
Is SEM for real? Is their weak preseason schedule gonna cost them? Is Arroyo still kings of the MVL? Can Argo keep it going? All questions will be answered next Friday. Prediction coming soon…
Well MT.view is still MT.View chuck got arroyo back on track glad to see he him back on the sidelines doing his thing
What happened to the Villasenor magic? Three forfeits, two consecutive goose eggs, and a 1-7 record. He did step down right?
Warren vs Downey aside, the big game on this Friday the 13th is Santa Fe at Cal. The Condors can secure a playoff spot by knocking-off Bateman’s boys. If SF wins, all kinds of scenarios come into play as to who gets the honor of being one-and-d0ne in the playoffs.
Arroyo runs The MVL glad chuck is back at Helm getting those boys right! Arroyo about to make run! SEM your on the clock!
