How did USC get D’Anton Lynn to leave UCLA so quickly? Easy, they doubled his salary from $1.03 million to just over $2 million. Chip kelly lamented that the Bruins’ offer “wasn’t even in the ballpark.” Riley needs to take a step back from his offensive diagrams and concentrate on getting the best linemen available. When everybody is watching the ball, true football fans also pay close attention to line play, as that is where games are won or lost.
By the way, Lynn is already on campus at USC, where his charismatic ways are in high gear, looking toward his debut against Louisville.
