(Pasadena) – Ron Jones, who was the defensive coordinator at Pasadena in 2022 and was the DC at Burroughs last year has been named the new head football coach at Pasadena.
Jones who was on DeJuan Shamburger’s staff at Pasadena before Shamburger resigned after the 2022 season, was also an assistant at Cathedral under Kevin Pearson, who is now the head coach at Warren. Jones also was an assistant at Pasadena in 2017.
Jones played his High School football at Muir before moving on to Oregon State where he played free safety and wide receiver.
Jones takes over for Dilan Clark who resigned after one season. The Bulldogs went 0-10 last season.
Should start winning games again. Keeping their kids and getting a few should get them back to it.
Was also the DC at Burroughs this past season.
From T. Peterson: Right. I added that. Thanks.
