(Bell Gardens) – Bell Gardens is set to hire Rudy Ramirez as the new head football coach the school posted Thursday on Twitter (X).
Ramirez, who served as the assistant head coach the last two years, takes over for Hector Novoa who stepped down Wednesday.
Ramirez is a Bell Gardens alum and also starred at running back for the Lancers.
Bell Gardens is coming off of a CIF Division 14 Championship and a trip to the State Regional Finals last season.
Great man for the job and for the kids.
