In the fifth, Andrew Villar beat out an infield hit and Romeo Arevalo was hit by a pitch. Adam Huizar singled to load the bases and Salcedo’s knock tied it at 4. Huizar then scored when the Moors failed to handle a ground ball to short by Fernando Gonzales.

The Knights then added one more in the sixth when Richard Inostroz reached on an error moved to third on a sacrifice and a wild pitch and scored when Arroyo pulled off a double steal.

Alhambra scored first in the first inning but Arroyo was fortunate to get out of the inning cheaply enough. Carlos Hernandez walked and stole second and Marc Hernandez reached on an error. Jackson Akers was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Aidan Alvarez was also plunked to get a run home but Nathan Castillo induced the next batter to hit into a 1-2-3 double play. After a walk to Ethan Ayala, Castillo got Isaiah Lerma to ground out to end the inning. The Moors had the bases loaded with nobody out and only came away with one run.

Arroyo answered with two in the bottom of the first, Arevalo walked, stole second and scored on a base hit by Huizar. Huizar was cut down at second trying to stretch it into a double. But Salcedo singled, stole second and scored on a single by Gabriel Rosales.
