  1. The Rams re-signed guard Kevin Dotson to a three-year, $48 million contract. 
  2. Arcadia beat Damien 3-1 Thursday at Angel Stadium. Gabe Lopez struck out 10 in six innings to get the victory. 
  3. The Buffalo Bills released cornerback Tre’Davious White, safety Jordan Poyer, and center Mitch Morse. 
  4. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Thursday that he is not committed to shortstop Gavin Lux as becoming the everyday starter. 
  5. The Lakers are currently 34-30, 10th place in the Western Conference. 
  6. “I too thought we had an understanding of a few years to get results on the field. I was hired to clean up the culture. We did that. Our personal fouls were way down, our grades were up with no kids ineligible, and our number of players increased during the season despite losing games. In the Spring we had free weekly youth camps, getting over 70 kids a week. We also for the first time, had the youth program at our school practicing daily and hosting games on weekends.   10. Arizona blew out UCLA 88-65 Thursday night dropping the Bruins to 14-16 overall and 9-10 in the Pac-12.

    It begins to look like the Whittier district is modeling itself after that finely tuned operation known as Washington DC. It is nothing if not corrupt and dysfunctional.
