EMA Juniors Fall in World Series Championship

EMA Juniors Advanced all the way to the World Series Final

(Taylor, MI) – The El Monte American Junior All-Stars advanced all the way to the World Series U.S Championship before falling to Texas 8-2 Saturday.

It was the first time in District 18 history that a baseball team played in the Little League World Series. EMA rallied from a five run deficit to beat Virginia 12-9 to advance to the Final game.

    Participating in the Junior World Series was a wonderful experience for the team. Playing in Michigan and sharing with other players is a memory that will last a lifetime. So proud of the many accomplishments of this team.
