    @Del Rio League,

    It was the girls Pioneer coach that did all the cheer pounding on social media, talking a big game. The boys coach is a pretty class act from all accounts.

    @DRL: The Titans are taking up a lot of space in your tiny brain. There is no social media where our great HC is doing any chest pounding. The only pounding is the Titans pounding your pea brain. Plus we are not in the weak DRL any longer so what do you care?

    Back to reality for the Pioneer HC. Pounding his chest all year on social media. For what? 4th in league and first round KO. Schedule one of the other Whittier schools before you post you’re the best team in “Whittier”. Happy fishing!

    One thing’s for sure: if the St Paul BB team all transferred to Pioneer, Mr. Riser would be on here day and night crowing about their excellence. Since that’s not happening, all he’s got is this drivel about Los Nietos boys and buying players.

    Yeah, looked at St>Paul’s starters on their roster. Names and heights dont match the demographics of the area, not even close. Are they rising or paying?

    Demise? Hardly. Pioneer plays up in a real playoff division with boys from Los Nietos. St Paul.?Well SJB showed us what the private schools do to buy players.

    Congrats to St Paul for its division one win over perennial power Etiwanda. And heartfelt consolation to the Pioneer Titan group in its rather lopsided loss to Littlerock in division 3A. Funny how St Paul is actually the team that is rising, Pioneer’s rhetoric notwithstanding.
