  3. The Rams released wide receiver Cooper Kupp after eight years with the team. 
  4. John Feinstein, a sports columnist and an author of several books that made him one of the most notable sportswriters of his time, passed away Thursday at the age of 69. 
  5. The Kansas City Chiefs signed quarterback Gardner Minshew to a one-year deal to backup Patrick Mahomes. 
  6. The Las Vegas Raiders signed running back Raheem Mostert to a one-year contract.

  8. San Antonio Spurs star De’Aaron Fox will undergo season ending surgery on his left pinkie Tuesday.  
  9. Oliver Miller, a center who starred at Arkansas and helped the Razorbacks reach the Final Four in1990, before playing nine years in the NBA, passed away Wednesday at the age of 54. 
  10. Minnesota fired men’s head basketball coach Ben Johnson Thursday after four years. Minnesota finished the season at 15-17 after losing to Northwestern Wednesday in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament.
