  3. The Ducks lost to the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 Monday night in Game 1 of their Western Conference playoff series.
  4. The Portland Trail Blazers beat the San Antonio Spurs 106-103 Tuesday night to even their first round Western Conference playoff series at 1-1. Spurs star Victor Wembanyama left the game in the second quarter after he took a hard fall and was placed in concussion protocol.
  5. Baseball: Montebello is 12-0 in the Almont League and has outscored its last three opponents 40-3.
  6. Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is joining NBC’s Sunday Night pregame show, “Football Night in America,” as a studio analyst.
