  1. South El Monte won the Mission Valley League baseball title with a 3-0 win over Arroyo Monday. 
  2. The Indiana Pacers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 120-119 Tuesday night on a three-pointer by Tyrese Haliburton with one second left. Indiana, who was down by 14 points in the fourth quarter, took a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Semi-Final series.  
  3. The Golden State Warriors beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 99-88 Tuesday night in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semi-Final series. 
  4. The New York Knicks rallied from a 20-point third quarter deficit to beat the Boston Celtics 108-105 in overtime Monday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. 
  5. The Denver Nuggets rallied from a 14-point deficit to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-119 Monday night in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals. 
  6. The Dodgers placed outfielder Teoscar Hernandez on the 10-day IL with a groin strain. 
  7. Former Nebraska head football coach Scott Frost has returned to UCF as head coach where he coached in 2016 and 2017. Frost was hired in December but his contract details were just released. He received a five-year, $22.1 million deal and it will be extended one year if UCF appears in a bowl this season. 
  8. The Baltimore Ravens cut kicker Justin Tucker with the organization insisting it’s a football decision. 
  9. La Mirada beat Arcadia 7-5 Tuesday night as two of the top baseball teams in the area squared off. 
  10. The Colorado Rockies have the worst record in baseball at 6-28.
