How many league titles did Cal win between 1999-2010?
1 maybe 2? It was really about Santa Fe during that time, Cal & LS were both afterthoughts.

Coach Winchell needs to approach prospective players with donuts in hand, telling them there’s plenty more where that came from if they suit-up for the Condors. Hard to forget a guy named Winchell who leaves that kind of calling card.

I’m those days the DRL ran through Cal and Santa Fe. La Serna was an after thought.
Need to bring back the days of 1999-2010 when Cal was a respected program in the Whittier/SGV.

That’s easier said than done. In a day and age when single sport athletes are encouraged to play AAU and travel ball year round, football is getting the short end because these kids are all afraid of getting hurt. There’s a negative stigma about football that these travel ball and AAU coaches give. If you think football does a lot of 7 on 7 in the off-season, it’s nothing compared to the countless tournaments and meaningless games baseball and basketball does.
Cal will be a 7 point dog to BYE
Get those ahtletic baseball and basketball players to suit up coach. That’s a big part of the job.
One thing’s for sure. This program is the one that has suffered the most as a byproduct of La Serna’s dominance.
Contracts with Sonora., Segerstrom et all expired , so a much more realistic D12-13 nonleague schedule. Maybe they can get a few wins and back to the . 500 level
