  1. Oklahoma City routed Minnesota 124-94 Wednesday night to wrap up the Western Conference Finals in five games. 
  2. The New York Knicks beat the Indiana Pacers 111-94 in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals Thursday night. Indiana still leads the series 3-2.   
  3. The Dodgers acquired former All-Star closer Alexis Diaz from the Cincinnati Reds for minor league reliever Mike Villani Thursday. 
  4. Pasadena OT/DT Brandin Carpenter has committed to Eastern Illinois. 
  5. The Florida Panthers beat the Carolina Hurricanes 5-3 Wednesday night to win the Eastern Conference Finals in five game and advance to the Stanley Cup Finals. 
  6. The Edmonton Oilers beat the Dallas Stars 6-3 Thursday night to win the Western Conference Finals in five games. Edmonton will face Florida in the Stanley Cup Finals.   
  7. The Dodgers will face the New York Yankees this weekend in a three-game series at Dodger Stadium. 
  8. New York Mets outfielder Juan Soto, who signed a $765 million contract in December, is hitting just .224 with eight home runs and 25 RBIs in 55 games. 
  9. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark will be out at least two weeks with a quad strain. 
  10. Former MLB/Dodgers outfielder and 12-time All-Star Manny Ramirez, turns 53 today.

    Rendon with Washington averaged 17 HRs and 142 hits
    Rendon with Angels 22 HRs total and averaged 45 hits

    At least Soto suits up unlike Rendon and Trout.
