Arcadia (0-0) at St. Francis (0-0)

Last Year: St Francis 40-0

Since 2001: St. Francis leads series 7-2

The Apaches have high aspirations for the 2010 season with Taylor Legace, Myles Carr, and Rodney Arnett.

One thing the Apaches won’t have to contend with against the Golden Knights is Dietrich Riley, now at UCLA.

St Francis does have a stellar wide receiving crew with Travis Talianko and Ian Hamilton. Look for Brett Nelson to take over the quarterback position.

St. Francis 28-14

California (0-0) at Rowland (1-0)

Last Year: California 55-27 CIF 1st. Rd.

Quarterback Adam Contreras will be asked to lead a young and inexperienced Condor team that lost its biggest playmaker to graduation.

A come from behind win at Baldwin Park for the Raiders allowed them to dust the rust off after eight months off without pads.

Michael Ball is back at quarterback and has another good running back to hand the ball off to in Irvin Crawford.

Rowland 24-10

Claremont (1-0) at Bonita (1-0)

Former Pomona running back Taj Teague now at Claremont, failed to register a stat in Zero Week.

Bonita 35-28

Diamond Ranch (0-1) vs. Damien (0-0) at Ganesha

The Spartans come in with more questions than answers as they break in a new quarterback, running back and receivers. Coach Greg Gano will have to look at the defense to make plays against the Panthers on Friday night.

Look for Alex Arevalo and Griffin Lord to lead the defense.

Diamond Bar (1-0) at Wilson (0-0)

Jamal Clayton ran for 119 yards.

Wildcat quarterback Brandon Schreiman has the tools to be special, including weapons around him. Moses Vega has proven the himself last two years as a hard-nose performer.

Muir (1-0) vs. Saugus (1-0) at College of the Canyons

The Mustangs will have to deal with quarterback Jared Carbajal who just led the Centurions to a 26-20 win over Pacific League rival Burroughs.

Carbajal ran for 132 yards and led a 9 minute and 25 second drive for the win.

Muir is talented, but banged up, close for a while.

Muir 35-21

Norwalk (0-1) vs. Cypress (0-0) at Excelsior Adult School

The Lancers run into another monster program in the Centurions who were one game away from the championship last year.

The big question mark for the Norwalk is the availability of Elijhaa Penny who may sit out Friday’s contest. Penny ran for 112 yards and Billy Moore ran for 105 yards for the Lancers in the loss.

The Centurions are rebuilding in 2010 as they are under a new head coach Mike Cobleigh.

Norwalk 28-21
