Good Morning!

John McCain running a “listening conference” to find out what’s wrong with the Republican Party, is like Al Davis doing the same to find out what’s wrong with the Oakland Raiders…

Watching the Lakers-Rockets last night made me think of Mitchell Wiggins, Lewis Lloyd, the Twin Towers, and a lame series ending shot by Ralph Sampson that put the Rockets in the finals against the Celtics…

Interesting because L.A. was knocked out of the playoffs in 1981 when the Rockets had Moses Malone at center. Then again in 1986 when Houston had Hakeem Olajuwon and Ralph Sampson…Each time they lost to the Celtics…

Now they have Yao Ming—you had to love the way he came back out on the floor in the fourth—and a 1-0 game lead on the road against the Lakers…

Funny how you remember the things you care about and forget the things you don’t…I thought about Monday’s loss for as long as it took me to click back to the Dodger game and see Manny Ramirez come to the plate….

When is Bad Manny going to show up?

Who said Orlando didn’t have enough weapons to beat Boston?

Did you see St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Rick Ankiel crash into the wall against the Phillies? Do you remember how his pitching career flamed out? Would anyone be offended if I didn’t walk next to him during an electric storm?

Just a reminder but former Arcadia defensive end Kevin Hess is still playing football up at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo…

Speaking of Arcadia…The Apaches only Pacific League loss this season came against Burbank…Guess who Arcadia plays tonight at 6:PM? That’s right the Bulldogs…

Actress Denise Richards butchers “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” at Wrigley Field…yeah, I’m sure every dude in America suddenly finds her unattractive now…

Am I wrong for not talking about the Stanley Cup?

Hey, wait, where’s the Scanlan question?
