Chaminade Pounds Burbank, 37-6

By Rick Fruchey

(West Hills)- The Chaminade Eagles dominated the Bulldogs of Burbank with consistent play on both sides of the ball for a 37-6 victory Friday night at home.

Eagles had over 400 yards in 58-plays on offense while the defense held the Bulldogs to 266 yards in total yards.

It looked like it was going to be a shutout for Chaminade but Burbank had one shining moment in the fourth quarter with 80-yard touchdown pass from Adam Colman to Jose Rodriguez for
their only score of the game.

Senior running back Tru Jarvis finished with 110-yards on 12 carries and three touchdowns to lead the Eagles. Running backs Terrell Newby and Michael Mitchell both, only sophomores, contributed in the win.

In a rough night for the B-Bank defense veteran linebacker Ryan Seidler stood out wrapping up and dragging down ball carriers.

Chaminade looked fined tuned as they will need to be to survive their brutal schedule.
