(Tujunga)- Zac Wilkerson threw four touchdowns passes and Nick Ruiz caught three of them as Crescenta Valley took a sloppy 34-13 victory over Verdugo Hills. The Falcons lit the scoreboard first when Wilkerson went 16-yards to Ruiz. The extra-point was missed and it hurt when Verdugo came right back and took the lead, 7-6, on Douglas Powell’s 6-yard run and point after to start the second quarter.
Five minutes later Marro Lee put CV up for good with a 15-yard run, and five minutes after that Wilkerson went to Ruiz again from 5-yards out for another score. The two hooked up again on the deuce to make it 20-7 at the break.
In the second half the Falcons got another touchdown from Wilkerson to Ruiz for an 11-yard score.
Anthony Zamora added a 4-yard run for Verdugo to open the fourth quarter.
Wilkerson capped the scoring with another toucdown pass, this time to Mark Sereno from 13-yards.
