Joe T., always working hard…
By Joe Torosian
Kick it!
Oh, I’ve always been a Tramon Mark fan!
Does the First Four really count as part of your bracket?
I guess the hockey jerseys didn’t work for Team USA.
Congrats to Bryce Harper, a player who, as a Mets fan, never scared me. Anthony Rendon scared me more than Harper—the master of the meaningless home run.
To me, Harper is this generation’s Eric Karros…a guy with a lot of home runs, but never one you’d remember…
Until last night…
Team USA lost, but give credit to Eduardo “The Possessed” Rodriguez. The Venezuelan lefty was awesome for 4.1; he set the tempo, and the Americans never got on track.
Goodness gracious, three hits?
Most uncomfortable man in America last night? My vote goes to FS1’s Ken Rosenthal when Venezuela’s Eugenio Suarez went off about Jesus Christ.
You never know what you’re going to get with live TV….Suarez testifying…Kiki Hernandez jackwagoning it with an f-bomb…or a smug reporter sweating with uncertainty.
And, of course, The Herd–hosted this week by Jason McIntyre–knifes up the entire Suarez-Rosenthal interview because they’re so terrified of JC.
#9—May the San Francisco Giants rot and lie stinking in the earth.
Is Kevin Durant washed? Dude can still play, but is he worth all the capital teams keep giving up to acquire him? He hasn’t changed anything, anywhere, since leaving Golden State.
Prairie View versus Lehigh, Miami (Ohio) versus SMU…alright, if I have to.
Former Rams punter Johnny Hekker, who at times was probably the best quarterback on the roster during his Rams run, has signed with the Minnesota Vikings…
Given how everyone feels about J.J. McCarthy and doubts about Kyler Murray, Hekker might be the best QB on the Vikings roster in 2026.
But I jest…
Last Add WBC: Were Davis & Smoltz that bad? The stuff I’m reading has them at Beth Mowins levels.
Last Add NCAA Tournament: I don’t like seeing Dick Vitale get old… he’s the best… a true PTPer.
The Raiders are getting slammed for the Tyler Linderbaum contract (3/81-Rocks/60-guaranteed), but take notice of what interior defenders are making this season—Chris Jones (KC), Milton Williams (New England), and Jordan Davis (Philly) are all making 26-Rocks and above in 2026.
Interior offensive linemen are going to start getting paid.
I like what the Miami Dolphins are doing…but De’Von Achane should be looking for an exit…The only reason to remain in South Florida for the next couple of seasons is the tax rate.
Is the fact that I’m interested in seeing Lakers-Rockets a sign that I didn’t take my meds last night?
The Dude abides…
