On Wednesday you beat Schurr 20-0, but on Friday you lose to the Spartans 5-3? I don’t think Alhambra’s Steve Gewecke was the guy to be around this weekend.

Running the risk of alienating Johnny Blue-State, I must admit I’m starting to like Juan Pierre again…I realize as a fan I am fickle, but unlike James Loney, Pierre seems to produce runs!

That Lakers performance in Houston was the stuff of champions yesterday. You get the feeling after that rollover against the Yao-less Rockets this L.A. team is singular in purpose, focused in thought, and driven to one goal…mediocrity!

Have I been in baseball hibernation too long, or does Angels southpaw Joe Saunders fail to get the attention he deserves…especially here in SoCal?

Okay Glen Davis hits the game winning 21-footer against the Magic last night and the Celts tied the series at 2-2…Good for him! I’m sure his mother was proud. I’m sure she was also very proud of his use of the word “Mother******!” repeatedly running down the court after burying the game-winner…Maybe that’s why they call him Big Baby…

I would like to take this time to extend a heartfelt apology to Dodgers reliever Ronald Belisario…I believe my earlier actions in saying that I was sick of you Mr. Belisario were wrong…what I meant to say is that I am sick of Guillermo Mota…and as a kindly, gentle sort of person I only wish upon him an episode of gastro-intestinal-distress…and sudden unemployment!

Perhaps not as my starting quarterback, but I would sign Michael Vick in a heartbeat, and I would have given up a sixth or seventh round pick to get him in half of one. Think about it he’s going to cost nothing, be on his best behavior, and desperate to reestablish his position in the NFL….Sounds like a Raider to me.

I haven’t seen a slugging percentage like Harrison’s since Ventura-Ryan Super Fight I in  1993.
