By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Justin Leslie has stepped down as the head basketball coach at Azusa Pacific after 12 years, to take over as the head coach at Midwestern State (Texas) APU announced Wednesday.

Vanguard’s Dwyer Throws Nine Inning Shutout

By Tim Peterson (Costa Mesa) – Former La Salle pitcher Vanessa Dwyer threw a complete game shutout  as Vanguard University beat Arizona Christian 1-0 in nine innings Saturday.
