By Tim Peterson (Costa Mesa) – Former La Salle pitcher Vanessa Dwyer threw a complete game shutout as Vanguard University beat Arizona Christian 1-0 in nine innings Saturday.
By Tim Peterson (Costa Mesa) – Former La Salle/Temple City American pitcher Vanessa Dwyer is now in the circle for Vanguard University. Wednesday she threw five shutout innings, allowing just three hits in an 8-0 win over Antelope Valley College. Dwyer did not walk a batter and struck out two.

From Temple City American Little League to Temple City ASA to La Salle High School along with numerous travel ball teams along the way. Saturday Vanessa Dwyer saw the fruits of all her labor pay off as she took the circle at Vanguard University.
(Pasadena) – Vanessa Dwyer, who is in her fourth year as a starting pitcher for La Salle, officially signed with Vanguard Monday to continue her softball career.
