(El Sereno) – Julio Garcia threw for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Steven Chester caught a 70-yard touchdown pass as Alhambra knocked off LA Wilson 41-25 Friday night in El Sereno.
Chester had 80 yards on two catches overall and Joe Santana added two touchdowns on the ground. Phillip Ramirez also hauled in a pass for a score.
The Moor defense put in work as well scoring twice as Sheehan Ramirez recovered a fumble in the end zone in the second quarter and Amellio Daggett (cool name) had a 30-yard pick six with 4:23 left to ice it.
Alhambra evened its record at 2-2 with the victory while LA Wilson fell to 2-2. The Moors will host South Pasadena next week.
