(La Canada) – Crescenta Valley rebounded from last week’s loss by wearing down and taking advantage of La Canada’s turnovers to cruise to a 35-3 win against their 210 Freeway rival.
The Falcons were given a short field twice in the second quarter to extend their seven-point lead to twenty-one before heading into the break.
Tyler Hill and Boston Lakin connected for two touchdowns and Brandon Breadt added two more on the ground all in the first half to secure the victory.
The Spartans were unable to take advantage of an early miscue by the Crescenta Valley defense that gave them good field position early in the first quarter. La Canada’s offense sputtered on the drive and were forced to punt.
Late in the game, Spartan kicker Mikey Selsor hit a 38-yard field goal to break up the shutout.
