By Tim Peterson (La Verne) – Isaiah Arriaza’s pass fell incomplete on a two-point conversion attempt with no time remaining and Damien fell to Rancho Cucamonga 24-22 Friday night on the Spartans home field.
Schurr Drives 55 in San Gabriel
By Tim Peterson (San Gabriel) – After trailing 14-13 in the early in the second quarter, Schurr ran off 42 consecutive points in a 55-14 rout of Sab Gabriel Thursday night in the Almont League opener.
