Bonita Holds Down Muir, 20-6

RB Joseph Lara and QB Evan Robbins led the Bonita offense. By Tim Peterson (La Verne) – Bonita’s defense held Muir’s offense scoreless Friday night in a 20-6 win over the Mustangs to kick off the 2026 campaign.

Chargers Give up 41 to 49ers in Preseason Loss

Gonzales Steps Down as Head Baseball Coach at South El Monte

South El Monte’s Michael Gonzales led the Eagles to three straight MVL titles and two CIF Championship appearances during his four-year run. (South El Monte) – Michael Gonzales has resigned as the head baseball coach at South El Monte after four years he confirmed Tuesday.

Santa Fe Routs Glendale in Opener, 38-8

By MVS Staff (Whittier) – Aiden Garate accounted for all five Santa Fe touchdowns as he thew for four and ran for one to lead the Sentinels to a 38-8 rout of Glendale Thursday night at Dick Torres Stadium to kick off the 2026 season.
