Chargers Win a Shootout, 47-42

By Tim Peterson (Inglewood) – Austin Ekeler scored on a three-yard run with 1:31 left in the fourth quarter to lift the Chargers to a 47-42 win over Cleveland Sunday at a sold out SoFi Stadium.

Utah Too Much for Trojans, 42-26

By Tim Peterson (Los Angeles) – Utah went on a 28-0 run from the middle of the second quarter into the third and went on to beat USC 42-26 Saturday night before 54,088 at the Coliseum.

Dons Drop 50 on Cards

By Tim Peterson (Whittier) – Anthony Bonilla did the work on the ground with four touchdowns and Elijah Mitchell did the rest through the air to lead El Rancho to a 50-21 rout of Whittier Friday night at California High.

Bulldogs are Kings of Cameron

By Tim Peterson (Covina) – West Covina’s defense pitched a shutout and the offense did the rest in a 26-0 win over South Hills Saturday night at Covina District Field. With the rivalry victory the Bulldogs can proclaim the title of the Kings of Cameron for 2021.

Glendora Grinds Out a Win

By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Glendora played ground and pound and eventually downed Ayala 21-7 Friday night at Citrus College.
