Rams Run Rosemead Out of North Field

Giving Temple City its first victory over the ‘Mead in three years.

(La Verne) – After being tied at 14, Duarte ran off 26 consecutive points to blow out Azusa 40-14 Thursday night at Bonita High. The win snapped a 27 game Montview League winning streak for Azusa.
South El Monte’s Ramirez out for the Year
(South EL Monte) – South El Monte quarterback Fernando Ramirez has a torn acl and will be out for the season sources said Thursday. Ramirez started all of 2011 for the Eagles but hasn’t played this year after the injury the week before the season opener.
