(La Verne) – After being tied at 14, Duarte ran off 26 consecutive points to blow out Azusa 40-14 Thursday night at Bonita High. The win snapped a 27 game Montview League winning streak for Azusa.
Duarte improved to 2-0 in league and 3-2 overall with the victory. Azusa dropped to 1-1 and 2-3.
