Good Morning!

T-Minus-29 until Manny Ramirez returns to Dodgers lineup

Now that my Lakers have dispatched the Nuggets, if they go on to win the NBA title could they be one of the worst champions of all time?

Which previous champion could you match them up against and confidently say; “Oh, they’d take those guys”?

Boy, Denver sure rolled over like a dog. Of course its collapse at home requires some comparison to the French army during World War II, but its not worth the effort.

Joe Torre says Manny Ramirez doesn’t belong in the All Star Game because its for players who deserve to be there. Old Joe sounds like he should be Senator Joe or Congressman Joe, by telling the voting public he knows best.

The fans vote for the All Stars, if they want to see Manny, they have a right to vote for Manny.

With a game Bud Selig let finish in a tie a few years ago, (I’m still not over it) by what right does anybody tell the fans what they can do with their vote? If MLB thought the tie was no big deal, then its over reaction to “no big deal” (the All Star Game deciding home field for the World Series) was worse.

The MLB All Star Game is an exhibition and as far as deserve goes have you seen the legends who have played in this game? Mike Sharperson, Steve Swisher, Bucky Dent, Mark Clear…Jeff Conine and Lamar Hoyt were MVPs.

I don’t care whether Manny plays or not, but to tell me my vote doesn’t count is so Sacramento of baseball.

Take the vote away if you don’t to hear from the fans.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say Baltimore Orioles rookie catcher Matt Wieters won’t become a Hall of Famer…Although it seems he already has every credential necessary except numbers, years played, championships, All Star appearances, and a 50-game suspension for steroids.

Give the kid time, he’ll get there.

Just locked down the June 9th “Mid Valley Sports Show”. Not only will we have new Wilson football HC Brian Zavala, but also Temple City rushing legend Jamil Frazier live in studio.

Frazier started TC’s 11-year run of thousand yard rushers in 1998, the Rams advanced to the semifinals that season.

Stay thirsty my friends…
