
- Brahmas Bombardier Henry Omana was on target Saturday at Arroyo
(El Monte) – Diamond Bar knocked off Azusa to win the SGV Shootout at Arroyo on Saturday. The Brahmas, led by quarterback Henry Omana, beat San Dimas in the quarter finals and then took care of Monrovia in the semis before dispatching of Azusa.
The final eight teams featured Arroyo and Monrovia in one bracket and San Dimas and Diamond Bar in the other. The bottom half consisted of Buena Park vs. Baldwin Park and Maranatha vs. Azusa.
Buena Park took third in the 24 team tournament. The teams started throwing at 9:00 am and the final game didn’t end until after 6:00.
