Good Morning!

T-minus-2 until Manny Ramirez returns to Dodgers lineup

I have always been a fan of the Wolfman!

Now even Wimbledon has a retractable roof? Is there any part of Jamie Foxx that’s retractable?

Note to Mid Valley Faithful: I corrected the Tribune’s Fred Robledo last Friday night on his assertion that we have only ten readers and also told him to give me a call when the Trib-Star finds the death dew cold on its brow…I may have some work for him in the way of Little League…

Curious to know if Bonita is going to replace Terry Paradez at quarterback with Evan Highly or Garrett Pendelton?

Speaking of quarterbacks the competition between Kyle Brown and Josiah Thropay to replace Chris Allen at Charter Oak is heating up. The senior Brown is unwilling to concede the starting spot to the phenom Thropay.

Brown or Thropay, both will have Adam Muema to give the ball to. Aj Powell, Keith Smith, and Brandon Golden return as well for CO. As Mr. Sandler would say; “Not too shabby…”

Am I the only one tired of seeing the Dodgers play the Rockies?

“Football Rush Week” is coming…

Maybe the Dodgers shouldn’t trade Juan Pierre just yet…

I agree the American League West is lousy but shouldn’t a good team be ten games over .500, up by to 2.5, and taking control as the Angels are doing?

The old Klingon proverb is correct; “The only true Angels fans, are front running Angels fans…” Peterson and Villathedevil must not have have purchased their bandwagon tickets on time. I’m sure they’ll get there though…

Mark your calendar; Maranatha at La Salle on Friday, September 11th…Its the new rivalry you need to be a part of…Now if we can only get them in the same league…

Odd how quick some things change. Expect South El Monte this fall to run more and expect Temple City to pass more…

The Houston Rockets possibly losing Yao Ming for all of next year and beyond with a busted foot is like being stuck in an auditorium knowing a Harry Reid speech is coming and being unable to stop it…They are in a bad place.

Word is new Montebello coach Pete Gonzalez had 180 players out this spring. Which doesn’t surprise one local Almont coach who said Montebello is still a football school and expects them to come back.

Did Andre Ethier hit a game winning home run last night? My TiVo only recorded 12-innings before Hannah Montana’s mug suddenly showed up.

Stay thirsty my friends…
