Good Morning!

T-minus-69 until “The Mid Valley Classic”

It’s the Fourth of July! Blue or Red state, this is the greatest country that has ever existed…Nothing comparable in history…So if you don’t like it, choke on it…My love for country is not defined by who’s in the White House…This is a great country, providing great opportunity for everyone.

My extremely liberal sister-in-law who was born and raised in Argentina said it best; “When people here didn’t like the election results in 2000, they got mad and they protested. When people don’t like the election results in South America they start shooting and killing.”

I don’t know…I’ve never been much of a Manny Ramirez fan…

Any chance of seeing Jason Repko again?

I think the question was answered though, the better pitching was in Albuquerque and the Inland Empire…

Are we done with, the recently rotated back to Triple A, Mitch Jones?

This is red meat for John Scanlan but can someone tell me what its like to actually be a San Diego Padre fan? I always thought being a radical environmentalist would have been the worst existence, but can anything, other than a tax audit, be worse than being a Padre fan?

Enzo Hernandez was their starting shortstop!

Looks like Hedo Turkoglu got his raise accepting 5-years, for 53-million with the Toronto Raptors…So he went from a finals team, to looking at a promising team in Portland, to a franchise in Canada going nowhere….Nice knowing you Hedo…

I’m so ready for football…

Zero Week contest not to overlook? Diamond Ranch at Muir…Friday, September 4th…

Someone asked me (paraphrased) if the party is over at Northview in light of defensive coordinator Brian Zavala taking the Wilson job, a huge chunk of stars graduating, and some other untimely departures…is Jim Arellanes going to survive?

Bad question. Arellanes is 20-13 in three years at N-View, while he might struggle a bit this season, there’s a maturing offensive line and Kamaron Germany…Give the Vikes some time…He sure looked like he was coaching well in the Hall of Fame game for the East…

Don’t miss the show this Tuesday as the Mid Valley Empire expands into Burbank with Burroughs HC Keith Knoop…also new Pasadena HC Mike McFarland…

People are still asking me how my 16-year old son is doing…He’s fine, done with baseball, and reading “The Mitchell Report” this summer…

Stay thirsty my friends…
