Demetrius "The Destroyer" Russell of Alhambra

Good Afternoon!

Oh, I have always been a Bonita Bearcat fan!

I’ve also been contacted by several Vegas sportsbooks to join their staff as a prognosticator…

Note to Pasadena, Randy Horton, Mike McKay, and Brandon Cox: I’m doing my part but I need a little help…

Maranatha tight end Robert Flewelling one catch, 35-yards, one touchdown last night…

If he wasn’t before, he’s bonafide now, but Zander Anding is a star after his 16 carry 345 yard performance for Burroughs in its, 31-20, loss to Saugus.

Losses happen, so the only question to ask Indians HC Keith Knoop is: Why didn’t Anding carry the ball 32 times?

Good for Duarte…A tip of the cap to Tip…

Last Add Smudge Pot: No truth to the rumor that Bonita HC Eric Podley paid Mid staffers Andy Villathedevil, Peterson, and myself to pick San Dimas to win the Smudge.

The only thing El Monte quarterback Brandon Martinez didn’t do in his outstanding debut for the Lions last night (on the road at Baldwin Park) was moon-walk.

Arroyo’s Steven Rivera, besides throwing four touchdowns, also picked up 265 passing yards against Ontario. This brings his career total to 5,369 yards; he trails the school’s all-time mark set by Kenny Smith (1995-1997) of 7,097 by 1,728 yards.

(Rivera with four scoring passes last night now has a career total of 60. Last season he passed Dominic Salmon (2003-2005) who previously held the record with 55.)

We’ve seen it before, saw last year in the playoffs, but penalties—as in 17 of them—will again do in a talented Muir team.

After taking a three touchdown lead against Village Christian, La Salle still found itself on the short side of things when it was over…for the twelfth consecutive time.

Northview sure seems to lose a lot of close games.

In a rough night for the Vikings at Moor Field, Mt. View’s Igancio Castanada took a beating and kept on going.

Alhambra cornerback Demetrius Russell and friends had a lot to do with Castanada’s discomfort…

Best thing I saw all night in the Mt. View-Alhambra game? After Josh Mendoza tossed a scoring pass to tight end Nathan Quinones he didn’t jump up and down, he didn’t raise his hands…He turned and walked off the field. The feeling here is Mendoza will always be about the next play, not the previous one…He’s gonna be trouble for anyone playing the Moors for the next two years.

As of 1:45 Pacific Time…Not one comment has been approved, trashed, spammed, or slotted in pending calling for Bob Burt to be removed as Wilson’s HC.

Can somebody tell me about Pomona rolling over Garey?

Can somebody tell me why Charter Oak and Glendora was so close (17-6)?

And Zack Tomlinson does it for Burbank against Warren!

The Dude abides…
