by Andy Villanueva (Boyle Heights) – Salesian continued right where they left off in 2013 by defeating Muir, 27-3 in what could be a preview of the Southeast Division playoffs. Salesian is coming off an incredible season where they were crowned Northeast Division champions. 

No Sweat For Mustangs

(San Marino) – Even when its best player isn’t 100 percent, Muir can still put points up on a scoreboard. Seeing limited minutes Emoni Jackson watched from the sidelines as her teammates ran away from Morningside 66-11.

Titans Cruise in Win

  (San Marino) – A 25-0 run to begin the season was all San Marino needed to defeat Bernstein in its opening round game of the San Gabriel Valley Classic Tournament.

Mustangs Quick Strikes Doom Matadors

(San Gabriel) – After falling behind early in its first game, Muir rattled off 37-unanswered points to defeat San Gabriel 40-23. Although the Mustangs managed to produce quick strike scores throughout the game, it was the 17 penalties that will not sit well with head coach Ken Howard.
